Handmade Bandana 12

An original 100% cotton Sierra Sown bandana made with the traditional cyanotype process. Bandanas depict various flowers, some from my property in the Sierra Nevada foothills, some are from bouquets from friends and others are found on the ground on hikes around California. 

Each bandana is made individually, using the magic of the sun!

This can be an art piece on a wall or used as a bandana in all the different ways.

Cyanotype Bandana Care Instructions:  Cyanotype prints are archival and meant to last for many years. However, they can be susceptible to yellowing or fading if exposed to phosphates or alkaline environments (like washing with detergents or rubbing your hands with natural oil). Minimize washing. If you need to, hand wash in cold water only and hang to dry. If using a detergent, be sure to minimally use a non-phosphate detergent to avoid any fading.
