River Queen Provisions

I collaborated with River Queen Provisions to create a custom cyanotype bandana for their Summer Jubilee event held at Rock Creek Resort. The design featured native wildflowers from the east side of the Sierra and incorporated the River Queen logo, blending the region’s natural beauty with their dedication to locally sourced cuisine. This collaboration celebrated the deep connection between food, place, and craft, bringing a unique artistic element to the dining experience.

Mono Lake Committee

I teamed up with the Mono Lake Committee to create custom topographic earrings featuring the unique landscapes of Negit and Paoha Islands. Using actual topo maps of these volcanic islands, I turned the lake’s wild terrain into wearable art. This collaboration was a tribute to Mono Lake’s one-of-a-kind geology and the continued efforts of protecting this wild and diverse landscape.

Later in the year, I also worked on a special commission to create both notebooks and zipper pouches with the topo lines of Negit and Paoha Islanca.

Kula Cloth: Bandanas + Beanies + Hats

I've been a big fan of Kula cloth and the founder Anastasia and truly have joy whenever I read her emails.

Through a series of awesomely cool events, we connected and I created these "Creepy Cat" bandanas, beanies and hats for the Kula website.

If you know about creepy cat, you know. And if you don't know, you should click the link below but also sign up for Anastasia's email lists and substack. It's truly the best.

Art Contest: Kula Cloth

I love a prompt and a challenge and it’s so much fun to enter contests and art calls and see what emerges! Although I did not win the original contest, through a series of super cool events, we ended up doing a limited edition run of these Kulas on the Kula website. SO COOL!

Kula Cloth Art Contest: For this contest, I created “Mine” which features a representation of the uterus made with flowers from my garden. I also used flowers to write out "MINE" to really make a statement. Subtle but also, not so subtle too.

Mickey Girl Designs

I collaborated with Bonnie of Mickey Girl to create a limited run of handmade sling bags, combining her craftsmanship with my cyanotype printing. She sent me large swatches of fabric and I transformed it by creating one-of-a-kind botanical prints with flowers from the Sierra Nevada. From there, she stitched the pieces into beautifully crafted sling bags, blending function, artistry, and a love for nature. This project was all about creative synergy—two makers coming together to turn raw materials into something truly special.

Art Contest: Blundstone Boot

Another prompt and another challenge and this is what emerged! Although I did not win this contest, this design has been a best-sellers over the last couple of years and it's awesome to see blundstone lovers get excited when they see this sticker.

Blundstone Boots Art Contest: I used flowers to create a cyanotype print in the shape of the iconic Blundstone boot. By arranging the flowers in this way, those who know, know and it feels like I captured a bit of the magic of the flowers while nodding to the boot’s classic design, bringing together two symbols of adventure for a whole lot of people.

Nanook Sticker

Some of my favorite humans got married and wanted some Sierra Sown stickers to add to their guest gift bags and I said "why don't i make you your own?!" and they said "WHAT?!" and then I made a print out of flowers in the shape of their pup-dawg, Nanook. The most fun. Both the making of the print which turned into a sticker and their wedding. Double awesome.

I also made the bride and groom hats with cyanotype patches of their pup as well as a little wedding gift.

Something Blue: Wedding Magic

I’ve been lucky enough to create goods for not one, but two weddings. The first was a commissioned print that eventually became the thank you cards for the happy couple. This print incorporated wildflowers from the Sierra and topographic lines of the wedding location, a property that had been in the bride’s family for over thirty years.

For the second, I crafted a series of cyanotype goods, including a bolo tie for the groom, a hat band for his sister, and custom shirts for his nephews. The prior summer, the groom’s sister had gathered ferns from their family’s cabin, the location of the wedding, which I then used to create each of the prints—connecting elements of this special place into every piece.

Individual Commmissions

I’ve had the pleasure of creating a variety of individual commissions, from custom shorts, pants and jackets to a special baby bouncer for a dear friend. Each piece is designed with care and attention to detail, using elements from the Sierra Nevada or bouquets of flowers gone past.
